Delivery
Orders should be received by 16.30 hours to ensure a next day delivery. This excludes furniture, print and special order products of which you will be advised by your sales representative. Orders for delivery to new accounts outside Wales and the West may require payment before delivery.
All deliveries are made during a normal working day, Monday to Friday, between 09.00 hours and 17.00 hours, unless by prior arrangement. All our delivery drivers are supplied with a mobile phone so not only can they keep in contact with base but our sales people can also contact them throughout the day to answer any queries.
Deliveries on Specific Days
If required Ross can control the release of orders for delivery of goods on specific days, for example when a daily delivery is not required and a weekly delivery may be more suitable for a particular site.
Regular Timed Deliveries
All deliveries are made before or between specified times. this service proves invaluable when managing a busy reception or goods in area.
Direct Deliveries
Where the quantity of a product ordered warrants it, items can be delivered directly from the supplier to yourselves. If this were the case then you would be advised of the expected delivery date and the supplier who will make the delivery.
Special items will be delivered by the date agreed at the time the order is placed.
Ross produces a daily back order report. Your sales co-ordinator will check the progress of these orders on a daily basis. For any item that will be delivered late, they will contact your order point at least two days before the item was due for delivery. They will then offer alternatives or a new delivery date. |
